63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960

The Consul General of Algeria in Istanbul, Mr. Mohammed Meraimi, presided over the commemorations of the 63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, amidst a distinguished official presence including the Mayor of Beyoğlu, Mr. Ali Haydar Yıldız, the Head of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Representation in Istanbul, Ambassador Ayşe Suzan Özler, a representative from the Governorate of Istanbul, and many heads and representatives of Arab and Islamic consular missions in Turkey.

This event witnessed active participation from our esteemed community residing in Turkey, especially from the student community, as well as notable attendance from various local actors and Turkish citizens.

In celebration of the Arabic language on its international day, which falls on December 18th each year, young Algerian talents from our national community were honored for their expressions of love for their homeland, Algeria, and their solidarity with it.
