63rd anniversary of the December 11, 1960

The Consulate General of Algeria in Istanbul commemorated the sixty-third (63rd) anniversary of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations in a solemn atmosphere under the supervision of Consul General Mr. Mohammed Meraimi, and in the presence of the Consulate General staff and a number of our honorable national community residing in Turkey. The ceremonies began with the raising of the national flag to the rhythm of the national anthem, followed by the audience reciting verses from the Quran for the souls of our noble martyrs. On this occasion, the Consul General delivered a speech highlighting the crucial role played by these fierce demonstrations in strengthening the path of the blessed Algerian revolution and achieving its goals in garnering international support for the Algerian people's cause and their legitimate struggle to defend their right to self-determination and independence. Glory and eternity to our noble martyrs! Long live Algeria!
