National Martyr's Day 18th March

The Algerian Consulate General in Istanbul commemorated Martyrs' Day on February 18th, under the supervision of Consul General Mr. Mohammed Meraimi, and in the presence of the Consulate General's staff and a number of our esteemed national community members residing in Turkey.

The ceremony began with the raising of the national flag to the rhythm of the national anthem, in tribute to our noble martyrs. Following that, verses from the Quran were recited in remembrance of their pure souls, who sacrificed themselves for the nation and freedom.

In his speech, Consul General highlighted the significant sacrifices made by the martyrs and their great role in liberating the country and advancing the Algerian revolution towards independence and dignity. "In a new era, we renew our commitment and loyalty to their pure blood, and we continue to walk in their great path with confidence and determination."
