Visit of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Mosque

In consolidation of the bonds of brotherhood and the deep religious ties that unite the brotherly peoples of Algeria and Turkey, the Consul General of Algeria, Mr. Meraimi Mohamed, visited the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and the Hagia Sophia Mosque today, Friday, the 12th of Ramadan. He was warmly welcomed with great hospitality by His Eminence, the Deputy Mufti of Istanbul, Mr. Ahmed Ak Turkoglu, His Eminence Dr. Mohammed Amin Ay, the imams of the Hagia Sophia Mosque, and His Eminence Sheikh Hassan Kara, the Imam and Khateeb of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

During the visit, the Consul General received explanations about these immortal religious monuments and their spiritual and religious roles in spreading the teachings of our noble religion according to the approach of moderation and balance.

The Consul General extended his congratulations on this occasion to their eminences for the blessed month of Ramadan and wished them and the brotherly Turkish people further security, safety, stability, and prosperity.
